Leading companies to present solutions for industrial transformation at IOTSWC

IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), the main global event on the transformation of industry through disruptive technologies, has already confirmed the participation of some of the world’s leading companies in the field of the Internet of Things (IoT), which will present their technological solutions to contribute to the transformation of the industrial sector and announced the names of the first speakers at its international congress. The show will also dedicate a day to analysing the advantages of the LoRaWAN data transmission system.

On its tenth anniversary and under the slogan ‘Connect to the next level’, the show organised by Fira de Barcelona will bring together more than 350 direct and indirect exhibitors from all over the world from May 13th to 15th, including Avanci, Edge Impulse, Emnify, iot squared and STMicroelectronics, among others, to showcase their latest innovations to boost the process of technological transformation of the industrial sector, especially in the digital environment, with the application of the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence, Digital Twins, Augmented Reality and 5G connectivity.

Topics such as Digital Engineering, with the potential to transform all sectors, and the emergence of Artificial Intelligence Agents, and their impact on business optimization and the labour market, will also be key themes in this year’s edition.

In this sense, IOTSWC 2025 will be attended by a large number of exhibitors from countries such as Germany, Canada, China and India, and will also feature the participation of the Consorci de la Zona Franca, which will present DFactory, its facilities for the promotion and development of Industry 4.0.

LoRaWAN and speakers from around the world
With the aim of bringing the LoRaWAN protocol closer to the industrial sector, the LoRa Alliance association will hold a conference within the framework of IOTSWC in which it will present success stories, implementation options and experiences of end users of this technology. LoRaWAN is an open, low-power wireless communication technology for data transmission between IoT devices capable of solving issues such as the limited range of communications or the high energy consumption of systems.

The event also features a conference with more than 150 speakers, including Italian expert Emanuela Girardi, president of ADRA, the European association for AI, Data and Robotics; American Brad Morrison, founder and CEO of Atlantis Industries and Texas space commissioner; and British Aidan Thorn, business development manager for marine robotics at Sonardyne.

In addition to a large exhibition area and an international congress, tackling challenges posed by AI, supercomputing and autonomous vehicles, IOT Solutions World Congress will showcase the most innovative start-ups at its StartUp Pavilion and will feature exhibitors’ commercial presentations in The Dome, the show’s immersive 360º tent.

IOTSWC will be held together with the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress, an event to promote tools and applications to increase the digital security of companies and industries.
