Over 100 speakers will address the impact on the industrial sector
Strategies for digital transformation, main focus of the IOTSWC 2025 congress
Artificial Intelligence, industrial IOT, Digital Twins, Augmented Reality, 5G connectivity… these are some of the digital technologies that are changing the industrial sector at a great speed. To analyse the impact of its unstoppable deployment in companies, IOT Solutions World Congress (IOTSWC), an international benchmark event on digital transformation, will bring together more than 100 experts in this field and showcasw success stories from leading companies.
Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the 2025 edition of IOTSWC, which will take place from 13 to 15 May at the Gran Via venue, with a congress programme structured in three main themes: digital transformation strategy, emerging technologies and processes, and work in adverse environments.
The conferences and sessions will feature top-level speakers who will tackle issues such as the use of AI to generate economic return, the optimization of processes as a sustainable initiative, the use of autonomous vehicles such as robots or drones to operate in environments inaccessible to humans, the energy transition or the future of Europe in the global AI race, among other topics.
Likewise, success stories will be presented to show how the application of disruptive technologies is contributing to a change in business models.
Among the speakers are the Head of Environmental, Society and Governance (ESG) Services at Fujitsu Spain, Elisabeth Margarit Borras; the President of The All Data Robotics Association (ADRA), Emanuela Girardi; the Executive Director of Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, Marta Pascual Estarellas; Atlantis Industries Founder and CEO Brad Morrison; the generative AI expert and Co-Founder of Microbrains, Claudio Lima; and the Head of the Telecommunications Programmes of the Future Division of the European Space Agency, Xavier Lobao.
Industry Connects to LoRaWAN
In addition, and with the aim of bringing the LoRaWAN protocol closer to the industrial sector, the LoRa Alliance association will organize a conference to showcase success stories, implementation options and end-user experiences of this low-power open and wireless communication technology for data transmission between IoT devices.
The IOTSWC congress is one of the highlights of this event which, from 13 to 15 May, will be held jointly with the Barcelona Cybersecurity Congress (BCC). Organised by Fira de Barcelona, the two shows will bring together more than 250 exhibitors from all over the world in Hall 8 of the Gran Via venue.
