Prith Banerjee is the Chief Technology Officer of ANSYS where he is responsible for leading the evolution of ANSYS’ Technology strategy and champion the company’s next phase of innovation and growth He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of CUBIC, and Cray, Inc. Previously he used to be Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry. Formerly, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Technology Officer of Schneider Electric. Previously, he was Managing Director of Global Technology Research and Development at Accenture. Formerly, he was Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of ABB, a power and automation company in Zurich, Switzerland. Earlier, he was Senior Vice President of Research at HP and Director of HP Labs. Formerly, he was Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Formerly, he was the Walter P. Murphy Professor and Chairman of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northwestern University. Prior to that, he was Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. In 2000, he founded AccelChip, a developer of products for electronic design automation, which was acquired by Xilinx Inc. in 2006. During 2005-2011, he was Founder, Chairman and Chief Scientist of BINACHIP Inc., a developer of products in electronic design automation. He is a Fellow of the AAAS, ACM and IEEE, and a recipient of the 1996 ASEE Terman Award and the 1987 NSF Presidential Young Investigator Award. He received a B.Tech. in electronics engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and an M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Al Beydoun
Dr. Beydoun is the President and Executive Director of ODVA, a leading international standards development organization whose mission is to advance open, interoperable information and communication technologies for industrial automation. ODVA is also driving the application of IOT to industrial automation including the use of Internet technologies to automate industrial processes and to secure the exchange of data between plant devices and business applications.

Dr. Beydoun began his career working in the automotive industry in the design and development of electronic controls modules. He worked in various areas of powertrain electronics engineering at Ford Motor Company and Visteon Corporation before moving to Lear Corporation where he most recently served as Director of Software and Systems engineering working with body, gateways, high power and other controls modules applications.

Dr. Beydoun holds an undergraduate and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, a Ph.D. in Electrical and Systems Engineering from Wayne State University, and an MBA from Michigan State University.

Pedro Mier

Pedro Mier holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineer ing from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, MBA from ESADE and PADE from IESE. He is currently President of AMETIC (Association of Electronics, Information Technology and Telecommunications Companies of Spain), Shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of TRYO Aerospace & Electronics, Board Member of the Premo Group and Committee of CTTC. member of Space Angels Network and Member of the Sc ientific Advisory

Rafael Salmi

Dr. Rafael Salmi is Global President and GM of Richardson RFPD (an Arrow Electronics company) a global provider of IoT, RF, Wireless and High-power hardware and software technologies and solutions to industrial markets. Dr Salmi has over 26 years leadership experience in  technology. 

  

Rafael is a technology executive with a proven track record of profitable revenue growth and global P&L management. He has solid experience successfully building and transforming organizations, attracting and developing talent, and growing mutually beneficial relationships with customers and suppliers. Having been based in North America, South America, Europe and with extensive time spent in Asia, Rafael is an effective multi-cultural communicator and with a highly proficient understanding of Global Markets.  

 
Rafael is recognized as an inspirational and change leader with a persistent approach to grow revenue. Dr. Salmi published several technology papers and serves in several global technology boards. 

  

Dr. Salmi hold a PhD in Experimental Physics from University Joseph-Fourier, Grenoble and is fluent in English, German, French, Spanish and Portuguese
