Furthermore, the confidence in financial markets is damaged, and major industrial countries are simultaneously in a recession. All in all, global uncertainty is on the rise.
- How can technology help industries overcome those challenges?
Although we are all facing various challenges given the markets and global uncertainty today, I strongly believe that now is the right time to challenge ourselves to do different. Uncertainty becomes an opportunity for all of us when we choose to focus on the unmet needs in the market and respond to these needs with a unique solution. And we know the saying, calm seas do not make for strong sailors.
Innovation matters. History provides us with countless examples of its importance. McKinsey’s research suggests that organizations that maintained their investment focus during the 2009 economic downturn outperformed the market average by more than 30% and delivered accelerated growth over the following 3 to 5 years.
