Biography

Since 2002 Casto Cañavate had a clear passion on HBES (Home & Building Electronic Systems). Currently, Casto Cañavate is the Team Leader of the Marketing Department at KNX Association which covers a wide range of activities such as the support in the creation and implementation of the marketing strategy in coordination with the top management of the company and the responsibility to communicate and implement the KNX mission internationally.

As a result, it will be introduced the KNX IoTech Programme, a framework that sets a best standard for the IoT industry. This programme is based on the most important aspects that users care most about, like future-proof technology, security, interoperability, openness, one ecosystem, and of course sustainability. In addition, this session will present the new IP marketplace, which will promote the devices and solutions that meet the recommendations of the programme, a perfect marketplace for startup companies present in the industry of IoT in home and building automation.
